This handbook gives an introduction to IPMAs international requirements to professional project-, program- and portfolio managers.

The handbook has two parts:

In the first part you will find the definitions of competence, competence elements, domains and levels. You will also find a description of the requirements you have to meet to fulfill IPMAs requirements of competence within each domain and on each level. The certification process is also described.

Part two contains a detailed description of each of the competence elements within each of the areas

The handbook also contains guideline on how you can start assessing your own competence.
